Rooted & Rising: A Year of Community, Care, and Change
In a year marked by growing challenges and shrinking safety nets, Lincoln Families remained deeply rooted in community and unwavering in our commitment to children, youth, and families. Our Rooted & Rising Year in Review highlights the resilience we witnessed across schools and neighborhoods—from early learners building strong foundations to families finding stability and healing through culturally responsive supports. Together with our partners, staff, and supporters, we stepped in where systems fell short and ensured critical mental health care, academic supports, and family resources remained accessible. This reflection celebrates the collective strength that made these moments possible. Thank you for being part of the forest that helps our community grow.
January Spotlight: Preventing Truancy, Together
This January, we are spotlighting Lincoln Families’ School Engagement Program (SEP), an early intervention program that helps youth and families address barriers to school attendance before challenges become chronic. SEP works closely with families to build stability, trust, and motivation through family coaching, youth counseling, and resource navigation—meeting families where they are at home, school, or in the community. Grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, SEP strengthens the safety net that keeps youth connected to learning and supported at home. To expand access to these prevention-focused services, we are fundraising through a GoFundMe campaign. Your contribution helps ensure youth receive the right support early—when it can make the greatest impact on long-term success and well-being.
A Night to Glow: Lincoln’s 3rd Annual Emerald Ball
We’re excited to invite you to a night of collective impact at Lincoln Families’ 3rd Annual Emerald Ball, taking place at BLOC15 in Oakland. This year’s Glow-Up Gala builds on our signature green theme—symbolizing growth, hope, and wellness at the heart of our mental health work with children and families. The evening features cocktails and interactive experiences beginning at 6:00 p.m., followed by a seated dinner, inspiring storytelling, a live auction, and an after-party on the dance floor. Your support helps power critical services that foster healing, resilience, and brighter futures for children and families across our community.
